Positioning Keywords On Your Webpages
Hi Christine,
Thank you for your question “where is the best position on your web page to place popular keywords?”.
The best position for your keywords is to have them peppered through your site in the following way:
1) Does your domain name include your major keyword/s?
2) Do your website page titles include your major keywords?
3) Do your navigation links closely match your major keyword phrases?
4) Have you included them in your 'h1 & h2' metatags for better search engine indexing? (your developer will know what this means
5) Do you then have them throughout your body copy, in context and in variations, including ‘long tail phrases
a. For example, ‘new and used baby clothes for sale in Melbourne’
6) Do you have navigation links at the bottom of the page, using your major keyword phrases
With your visible content, always make sure you read it aloud or get someone to read it aloud to you so that you can hear if it is too thin or too overdone, in terms of keyword density.
This should be your final check, because if it sounds OK to your ear, positioning will probably be right and density will be acceptable.
Hope this helps!
Best regards
Helen

How To Attract Quality Leads
Hi Megan!
Thanks for your enquiry and question about how to attract quality leads!
In a Nutshell, the best way to attract quality leads is to:
1) Decide exactly what your major product or service categories are
2) Do some keyword research to find out exactly what phrases people are use to search those categories
3) Research what your competitors are doing for some other insights
4) Make sure that your website has a page dedicated to each of your major categories
5) Set up some well organized Google Adword campaigns using the keywords you found, to drive the traffic to your site
6) Optimise your campaigns weekly to make sure you are able to improve their performance each week
7) Include Google Analytics coding into your site so you can track what your visitors do once they are at you site
Our Free 12 week E-Course will take you through all this and more, or if you prefer, please let us know what your major product or service category is (or send a link to your website) and we’ll do some preliminary research (complimentary).
This will give you an idea of where your best opportunities are!
We look forward to being of service and helping you tap into the river of online traffic available today!
Best regards
Helen
